Marja is thrilled to be part of theTHE LION KING family! She has appeared on Broadway in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Sookey/U.S.Maggie perf'd) and in the International Broadway tour of AIDA in the title role. Regional credits include RAGTIME (Sarah) at the Starlight Bowl in San Diego, FALSETTOS (Dr. Charlotte), JOSEPH AND THE…DREAMCOAT (Narrator), JEKYLL AND HYDE, and DREAMGIRLS. Marja is a proud graduate of USC in Southern California.
Join MARJA HARMON and another guest teacher from the Cast of the Broadway touring production of DISNEY’S THE LION KING playing the OCPAC in MAY/JUNE 2010!
This interactive workshop will expose participants to the three major disciplines in live performing arts- singing, acting, and dancing! Students will have the opportunity learn a song from LION KING and work on some basic acting and character motivation for the scene and finally we’ll learn the actual choreography that is performed in the Broadway show! We’ll put it all together and perform it for our families at the end of the workshop! We’ll then have a short Q & A session with the stars of LION KING and a chance to get a photo/autograph before we end our Workshop!
$40 fee for Workshop CLASS LIMITED TO 20 PEOPLE!
